WHAT IS A COCO + CARMEN AMBASSADOR?

Love our style? Why not get paid for sharing our products? We actively seek passionate people to promote our products, and in return we provide a fabulous way for you to earn additional income. Coco + Carmen Ambassadors spread the love of Coco + Carmen by sharing the brand and the products with their friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances through their very own referral link. 

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?

Joining the Coco + Carmen Ambassador program is free. By becoming an Ambassador, you’ll get access to your personal referral link that your friends, family, and followers can use to shop cococarmen.com and you’ll earn 20% commission on sales originating from your link. You’ll also receive special offers, sneak peeks, personalized software, marketing ideas and can even build a team to earn even MORE from their activity.

WHO CAN BECOME AN AMBASSADOR?

To be a Coco + Carmen Ambassador, you must be 18 years of age and have a PayPal account. We are currently accepting applications from US and Canada.

ARE THERE ANY COSTS TO BECOMING AN AMBASSADOR?

There is no cost to join the Coco + Carmen Ambassador Program and there are no monthly fees.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

Once you become an Ambassador, you will be provided with a specific URL (link) which will be unique to you as long as you are an active Ambassador. The link is the cornerstone of your business and is generated and tracked through a software application called ShoutOut. Now we know what you are really wondering, and yes, this is the link you will share via social media, email and other personal communication channels. When your friends, family and associates click on this link and make a purchase, the sale will be tracked back to you up to 30 days later. So, whenever someone clicks on your shopping link and makes a purchase within the 30-day window, you will earn commissions from that purchase, even if they shop directly on the Coco + Carmen website.

HOW CAN I USE MY REFERRAL LINK TO DRIVE TRAFFIC TO COCOCARMEN.COM?

Leveraging your personal Social Media accounts as well as your personal direct communication channels like e-mail, texts, etc. is the cornerstone of the Ambassador program. Any paid search activity conducted by you for the purpose of driving sales to the website or recruitment to your team is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You also agree to not comment with your Ambassador code or link on any Coco + Carmen Company sponsored social media channels or posts, i.e. Instagram, Facebook, etc. or any Coco + Carmen post made by a third party retailer who carries Coco + Carmen and is promoting the brand to their customers. Your marketing and promotion activity is limited to your personal channels. Please see the ‘Our Relationship’ and ‘Term, Termination & Suspension’ sections in the Terms and Conditions for additional information.

HOW ARE MY SALES TRACKED?

The ShoutOut software application provides a personalized Ambassador shopping link that is unique to you. To get credit for sales, your followers need to first click on your personal shopping link and then make a purchase (even up to 30 days after the click).  

WHAT DOES MY PERSONALIZED SOFTWARE CONSIST OF?

Ambassadors are able to login to ShoutOut and see their referral link, sales, commission payment history, and the number of unique leads (visits to your link). Under settings, you can edit / add your name, address, payment settings (PayPal email), social security number and your password. 


Your login is the email you used to apply to the program and the password is the password you entered on your application as well. If you can’t remember your password, click on the “Forgot your Password”. 

DOES COCO+CARMEN PROVIDE ME WITH MARKETING MATERIALS?

Yes, once you have joined our program you will have access to an image library that will be refreshed for new product launches and promotions. But your best marketing tools will be personally generated by YOU - Wearing and sharing your own fashion looks or designs that catch your eye!

ARE SALES FROM MY REFERRAL LINK CONSIDERED MY CUSTOMERS?

Good news!! We handle all customer service-related requests for you! Coco + Carmen website customers do not become your customers by virtue of your participation in the Ambassador Program. Any customers shopping on cococarmen.com are considered Coco + Carmen customers, and such, processing and fulfillment of orders and returns will be considered Coco + Carmen’s responsibility. If you are contacted by any of your referrals for a matter relating to an interaction with cococarmen.com, please have those customers contact Coco + Carmen directly by contacting customer service – customerservice@cococarmen.com .

HOW MUCH DO I EARN FOR COMMISSIONS?

Personal Commissions: 


As a Coco + Carmen Ambassador, you will receive a 20% commission on all qualified purchases generated through your own personal Ambassador referral link. This commission structure was created to reward you first and foremost for your personal sales efforts as that is the core of our Ambassador program. 


There is no monthly fee with this program.


In order to remain an active Ambassador, you must have a minimum of one personal sale every six months. 


In order to be paid as an active Ambassador you must have an active PayPal account.


Team Commissions: 


Coco + Carmen Ambassadors can build a team right from the start and earn additional commission from the downline structure*: 




Team commissions can be earned up to 3 levels deep. Commissions are paid on the net sales, excluding shipping and taxes. If we refund an order you earned commission on, your commission will be reduced by the value of the commission paid on the original order. Actual commissions vary per Ambassador. 


* You are eligible to earn downline team commission every month your personal Ambassador sales are $100 or more. If this requirement is not met, you do not lose your active status, you simply do not earn your team commission that month. Any unpaid team commissions do not rollover to the next month. You do continue to earn commission on sales through your own personal Ambassador referral link.  

DO I HAVE TO BUILD A TEAM?

You do not need to build a team. You can make your Coco + Carmen Ambassador side hustle as big or as small as you choose to fit your lifestyle and schedule.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A CERTAIN SALES QUOTA?

The Ambassador program is totally what you make of it. Like anything in life, the more time you spend on something – in this case, sharing your link, the more likely you are to earn a higher commission. Some months you may want to do more, some months you may want to do less – it’s totally up to you. 


Should you have a team, you will need a minimum of $100 in monthly sales to get paid on your downline. If you don’t reach the minimum in sales, you won’t lose your downline, but your team commissions for that month will be forfeited.If you have no personal sales over the course of 6 consecutive months, it’s likely that this is not the right fit for you and your account will be terminated. You can re-join at any time.

WHEN AND HOW DO I GET PAID?

Commission is processed once a month, typically on the 15th-20th of every month. You will receive an email from PayPal as soon as commission payments are made. 


To make Ambassador payments as easy as possible, we pay commissions via PayPal, a free service that’s super quick and easy to sign up for.Commissions must be at least $25 to be paid. If you have not reached $25, your earned commission will roll to the next pay period.

HOW DO I MAKE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

If you don’t have a PayPal account already, you can easily make one. We suggest that you use the same email address that you use to log into your Ambassador account, although this is not necessary. Once you are done setting up your PayPal account, make sure you add your login email address for PayPal to settings in your ShoutOut back office and press “Save Changes!”

WHAT IF SOMEONE IN MY NETWORK CLICKS MY LINK, AND AT A LATER TIME GOES DIRECTLY TO THE SITE TO MAKE A PURCHASE?

Cookies are set to 30 days. Meaning if a customer clicks on your link, but does not shop immediately after clicking the link, and later comes back directly to Coco + Carmen, the sale will still be tracked to you for up to 30 days. 


The following overrides the 30-day cookies 


    1. The customer clears her cache after the click through to your link. In that case, all cookies are lost.  

    2. The customer subsequently clicks on another Ambassador’s link after they click yours. The system only retains one cookie, and in this case would retain the most recent click for             the next 30 days. 


Cookie expiration automatically resets to another 30 days if your referral link is used on a subsequent website visit. 

CAN MY AMBASSADOR REFERRAL LINK BE USED WITH OTHER COCO + CARMEN DISCOUNT CODES?

Yes – any offers on the Coco + Carmen website are also available to customers shopping through your referral link. In the case where you are given an Ambassador “special coupon code” – IE 25% off, that cannot be used in conjunction with an existing Coco + Carmen discount code. The system only allows for one code to be used.  

WHAT IF SOMEONE IN MY NETWORK CLICKS MY LINK, AND AT A LATER TIME GOES DIRECTLY TO THE SITE TO MAKE A PURCHASE?

WHY IS THERE A NEGATIVE COMMISSION AMOUNT IN MY AMBASSADOR ACCOUNT?

Our system will adjust for returned or canceled orders. If you see a negative balance inside your Ambassador account, this is because the commission payment was sent prior to a returned or canceled order.

CAN I BE AN AMBASSADOR FOR OTHER COMPANIES?

Certainly, you are free to work with any other Ambassador, Influencer or Affiliate programs.

HOW LONG DOES MY ACCOUNT REMAIN ACTIVE?

There are no monthly quotas to remain an active Ambassador. However, accounts with no activity (sales) for a period of six months will be de-activated.

WHAT IF I NO LONGER WISH TO BE A COCO + CARMEN AMBASSADOR?

If you no longer want to be an Ambassador, we totally understand! Sometimes it just doesn’t work for you. Simply shoot an email to: ambassador.team@cococarmen.com and let us know so we can cancel your Ambassador account. We’ll certainly miss you…

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF IT LOOKS LIKE I AM MISSING COMMISSIONS, HAVE QUESTIONS, ETC?

Please reach out to us at ambassador.team@cococarmen.com Make sure to include the date and customer information to give us a better idea of which sale may be missing from your account. Also, to make it a bit easier, please include your Ambassador account email & PayPal email (if they are different).

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING CHARGES AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER?

Orders of $75 or more ship Free in the USA. There is a flat rate shipping charge for orders under $75 of $5 in the USA and $10 in Canada. Orders over $75 in Canada have a $15 shipping charge. We apologize, at this time we do not ship outside the US and Canada nor do we offer any expedited shipping options. Please allow 3 – 5 days for your order to be processed before shipping. Once your order is on its way, we will send you an email with your tracking link. You may view your tracking link online in your account history page.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

We use USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx and UPS for deliveries to the United States and Canada. If you are shipping to Canada, your package will likely spend time in customs. We cannot provide any customs clearance estimates, but in most cases, shipments may spend anywhere from one to three days in customs. 


IMPORTANT: Any customs or import duties that are charged once the order reaches its destination country must be paid by the recipient of the order.
